About this deal

Now i just get sweet cherry juice smell especially when it dries down older bottles smelled lot of almondy incense rose. The orange blossom top note already proposes an elegant sweet ambiance and participates in the sweet accord together with the tonka and almond notes. An actual "for him" take on Moschino - Toy Boy that doesn't exist - without the sourness from what I suspect the pear note gave.

From the scent profile, the quality of ingredients, the way this is blended, the bottle, the cap, and the company behind this fragrance. Of the line, this is my least favourite (and the new silver bottled flanker is superfluous in my opinion). But to me this is a really good fragrance but almost redundant if you own something like Lhomme by YSL. L'Homme Idéal EdT does remind me of certain fragrances like Armani's Code Profumo, Mugler's Pure Havane, Azzaro Pour Homme Intense and SpiceBomb, but without being similar to none. Thankfully, it’s not heavy nor boring as its contrasted by Citruses, Sour Cherry, herbal Rosemary, Orange Blossom on a base of Cedar and Vetiver. It's similar to Armani Code, so if you are a fan of that fragrance, you'd likely have some natural affinity to this one. In the final stage of this composition, the rugged manliness is sealed by the enchanting aroma of cedarwood, coupled with the sharp notes of vetiver. This is a fresh opening, and the moment where L’Homme Ideal is at its fizziest, although there is no denying that the effervescence of the bitter orange continues into the drydown. The one stand out accord is the rosemary, which provides an unwelcome herbal nuance and somewhat spoils the fragrance altogether. Longevity modarate and sillage nearly 1,5- 2 hours very good and strong but not bursting so you can wear in office also in a restorant for dinner.

Performances are similar maybe the opening is stronger with the 2016 batch thanks to that citrus blast but overall longevity and projection are toe to toe. Bought this fragrance a couple weeks back and wanted to wear it on a date night with the wife and had a chance to fully experience the scent when I went out to go to a comedy club and boy is it amazing. It lasts 3 to 4 hours on my skin and then fades into such a minuscule skin scent that I have to dig my nose into my arm just to catch the tiniest whiff. The brightness in the opening along with the strong cherry and gentle sweetness of the dry down make it very versatile. In a way, this sweet leather-tonka combination is very mainstream (Armani Code Profumo comes to mind, but almost every designer line has something like that in their selection). So, if you like L'Oreal Barber Club grooming products at supermarkets and want to combine with something similar but much much higher quality cologne (it's Guerlain) here it is!

To my nose, the "Eau de Parfum" seems to have a similar performance and a kind of cloying scent, with strong tonka and faint vanilla. The mid is where the sweet yummy vanilla scent comes into play, and you can notice the warm spiciness too it. Image of this scent on the people that man is trustable and who has soft personality and good person and has a good education. Definitely one of the mature type of fragrances out there, that can also be a little forgiving regarding age groups - I'd still recommend this for confident 20+ yearolds. The bottle retains its original form, colored in a soft amber shade with the logo letters in bright orange.

BP is leather, sour cherry, and rose and that makes it dark goth and mysterious whereas L’Homme Ideal EDP is like the fruity and mass appealing version. Bought this for chrismas pres for myself and its so watered down, last less then 1 hour on me and 0 sillage. Please read the full reviews and consider your own needs and preferences before making a purchasing decision. I think this would go well on cool days, but I'll try it on a Summer day just to see if it could be more versatile than I'm giving it credit for.

They were founded in 1828 and their expert knowledge in perfumery was passed down over four generations of family until 2002 when Jean-Paul Guerlain stepped away from the business. As the scent progresses, the amaretto accord stays through, with some additional backbone provided by a woody note (cedar) and a very faint and slightly sour leather accord which give some more legs to this scent - on me it lasts around 5/6 hours, not the best performance in class. Despite bottle changes, Guerlain generally maintains the original character of its scents, showcasing a commitment to quality and consistency. In a few words, spices, incense, green herbs, the right sweet (not gourmandise at all) touch, sandalwood, maybe leather is missing or it's very soft. I spray it like there’s no tomorrow, because I am an attention whore and I love the way people react to it. The initial zing is perfectly complemented by the sharp bitterness of orange that is expertly balanced in the opening.
